Taking the over night bus we arrived in Pelinque at 6:30 am. Despite not getting much sleep we checked into our hostel and headed off to see the ruins. These were some of the best ruins of all the ones we saw.
Our second day there we took a tour and were able to see two waterfalls, both very impressive and beautiful.
Locals selling bananas on the road, they actually strung a rope across the road so we would have to stop.
Our favorite place we stayed in Mexico. It was like a resort for backpackers.
The accommodations were "huts" scattered through the jungle connected by narrow winding paths. Our room was upstairs.
