A few days before Christmas Quinton decided the time was right to go on a vacation. We left Sunday and returned home Tuesday afternoon. Here are some of the highlights of the places we visited.
After spending the night in a Motel 6 in San Simeon, we started off with a tour of Hearst Castle. It's a great big mansion on the coast just North of Morro Bay. The Castle was built back in the early 1920s by Mr. Hearst.

If this is just the guest house you can imagine what the main house looked like. Unfortunately we didn't get a picture of it.

Main dining Hall. The house was decorated for Christmas.Afterwards we drove over to Morro Bay and stopped in at a very small aquarium. Two of the most interesting exhibits they had were some eels and a cool octopus.

We just stayed in San Simeon a few days ago. We didn't stop at Hearst Castle this time, but we have toured before...it is an amazing place! Glad to see you guys had fun on your little vacation! :)
