Mexico Part 2, Chichen Itsa

Our next stop was Chichen Itsa, the most touristy ruins in the peninsula.

The observatory

The classic tourist pose: where am I and where am I going?

Instead of purchasing lots of souvenirs, Quinton enjoyed taking pictures of the vendors.

Had to take a picture of this sign hanging at the bus station, the English translation is great!

This is a cave we went to near the ruins. It was SO hot and humid down there we could hardly breath. The pots are offering pots. They had alters where the big stalactites and stalagmites were.
